This is my first critique on animation so I don't know if it'll be useful or not.
The transitions are fair, i can tell you spent quite a decent amount of time on this and have made quite a lot of frames for parts where there is a lot of movement. You've also cleverly looped where necessary such that although repetitive it's believable.
Like the slight humour in this. The art itself is very nice, the tones, shadows are simplistic. It could do with a couple more frames where she puts the lollypop in the grim's mouth as the transition gets a bit choppy. The blast is pretty awesome and otherwise overall this is a nice animation clip. Only improvements you could have would have been the hair when she is walking, otherwise I can understand how much more work just changing that could mean.
The first thing that caught my attention was its colors that are nice and warm, the shading isn't anything much, but you made it smooth, basic, and appealing to the whole situation. The animation is sloopy at some parts and sometimes too fast to the point of bothering my eyes. The part where the demon vanishes, however, was good and somewhat interesting.
Although the animation lacks a bit of dynamism, I have to take in consideration that this is your first animation, so overall the whole idea of this is creative enough and you made it work nicely. Congrats and keep it up
Lol, she put the lollypop back in her mouth!!! Amazing animation, must have taken you long, I know now, been spending so much time on that Hatsune Miku pic I'm getting really impatient and frustrated :/ Already want to start working on my own characters XD, but I made it a point that I have to finish it before I start anything else. Great work, and liking the tuts, though I'm having to kinda improvise at times since I'm using gimp which is completely different to SAI.
Your patience is so strong!I rarely publish pics cuz I quit on finishing what Im working on and start new doodles lol...Thanks so much for the kind words!
No worries, Im experiencing the exact same thing with that Miku image :/ and also my comic, but i keep telling myself I cant quit otherwise it would be a damn shame. Still, sometimes I just feel like dropping my comic art and any digital and just focus on my paintings, but another part of me really wants me to keep working on comic even if its once in a while. So we're on the same page, plus your animation was really awesome. Should definitely do more of those. Will give my critique soon.
Lol you are right!same here! thx btw for the comment and "coming soon critique"I'll try if I find time to finish other animations I started >w< *im so lazy!

On the whole I really like this.
