Meet the Lost Kidsby *TK-Kid

======== PLEASE READ BEFORE==============
Thanks firstly for stopping by!On my personal opinion the cover has 50% influence on buying the related article!(of course the rest is the book art,story etc)So I thought that I had to try my best to capture the attention of the client with my art!That’s why I made lots and lots of stuff in there!As you can see I drew many of the environments of the comic.I drew Akades,Samarkand inside the white tower,Soschen falls,the fourseason forest*during night(I like glowing stuff lol),also a view of the airship. I did this because I wanted to send a message to the viewer like:”Hey pal this is where you are going to travel in”
Note: all of my illustrations were based on the artist work and also some fantasy-work of mine so sorry if it isn’t 100% like it should be.I also avoided to much detail (actually I partially blured the BG)because I wanted the main attention to be on the characters so avoid zooming the BG

Just like the Bg even with the character I tried to express what the comic talks off,I did this by their pose and facial expressions:
PETER:==============================
Like the author said,Peter is the black-sheep of the group!And usually black-sheeps don’t really pay attention to what people around them do because they don’t really care about it!But when they get interested on the topic they do their best to get all the info!Like his doing on the pic!His scratching his head to show thathe really doesn’t know whats going on,but at the same time he’s trying to get closer to understand something!He’s like:”Hey,the hell are you guys doing?!”
SARAH:===============================
Brain characters all time trying to give advice to the other ones!I tried to show this with Sarah’s hand pose!You know, shes like:”well done but I’ve heard usually this should be like that…etc”,and at the same time very interested on whats going on! I also made her face a bit more feminine ,I gave her a smaller nose to avoid that childish look as she is 17.
KATE================================
Tried my best to make her look as a real calm character!Thats why she doesn’t like to give advice or comment Tommys works becauseshe simply likes to watch him in drawing in silence!
JJ===================================
Differently from the other characters JJ is watching in front of her!With big eyes and a smile on her face! Just like she want’s to talk to the viewer:”Hey,ready for some adventure” I wanted to show that shes the main character and tried to to this in the simplest way possible!*with a look!
TOMMY===============================
Keen on his own work he doesn’t pay attention to things around him! At last that’s what artist do no?They get lost in ther fantasy-worls and forget about the rest!
================LAST WORDS==========
With the floating papers wanted to show that they are part of the story too!(the Tommy drawings I mean),but I dindt wanted to tell directly to the viewer that OH LOOK THEY ARE THE KEY TO SAMARKAND!You know just to keep some mistery!For the same reason I didn’t drew the bad guys and other characters,Neeeeeah you better buy that comic if you want to find out more

AH as for the logo I left some space on the grass!

The details are just astounding.. they completely take my breath away! The colors are so vibrant and gorgeous, and I love how the personality of each character really shines through!
